How Does Hiro Play Soccer?

Still didn't have the time for blogging as frequent as I would. I guess at least I should post what I do have on my drafts. Enjoy Hiro's appearance in playing the ball. I guess, he misses the time when he was in the junior national team.

Where You Can Find Mizushima Hiro? (Part 3)

Back with the sequel of Where You Can Find Mizushima Hiro! You can read about Hiro's earlier dramas in the first and second part :)

9. Churaumi Kara no Nengajo as Miyashita Kota
I can't find this drama everywhere! OK, I lied. I found out it is available in Veoh, but I can't watch it since Veoh is no longer available in Indonesia. Though he is just supporting actor in this drama, I'm curious to see him with long hairstyle like on the below picture. Haha.

10. Zettai Kareshi as Asamoto Soshi
I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it, but I almost cry watching this drama. Many sad scenes in here but the saddest part was in the end of its special episode.
The impossible relationship between Riko and his robot, Night (played by Mokomichi Hayami) made me feel sorry for Night, but I feel more sorry for Soshi who broken-hearted many times.
Like other Hiro's drama, I haven't read its manga, so I can't compare the character of Soshi in the drama with his character in the manga. I can only say that Hiro's role in Zettai Kareshi is not a strong character. Soshi is a distinguished man from a family company that runs bakery. At first episodes, he is described as a playboy and irresponsible person. But later on, he falls for Riko and I can't catch his true character ever since. But as a man, I can tell that he always let himself brokenhearted and does nothing to get Riko choose him rather than Night.

I had planned to publish this post if I have finished writing about Hiro's appearance in Room of King and Mei-chan no Shitsuji as well, but I am too lazy to do that hehe. So I guess enough for now. See you another time :)

誕生日おめでとう、ヒロくん!!!*

I totally forgot that 2 weeks ago is Hiro's birthday. What kind of fans I am? Haha.
Actually recently I don't remember dates. You know, if you still a high school student, I'm sure you always remember the dates and days, since everyday you must be wrote something. When I was a college student, most of the time I only remember the days, not the date. When I was an employee, I almost always forgot both, except Friday, because I can't wait for the weekend! But since now I am temporarily unemployed, I can't differ weekday and weekend, so no need to ask whether I can remember the dates or not.

I guess I totally skipped the 13th day of this month. Actually, every month my boyfriend and I always celebrate the 13th every month because it is our anniversary, at least we always remember the date and say 'happy anniversary' to each other, even if we can't be together at that moment. But I guess this April 13th just missing from our calendar and we both totally forget XP. We just remembered in the following days (but I still didn't realize that it was also Hiro's birthday).

I realized just now. Maybe back then my mind full of ideas for the birthday present that I should give to my boyfriend in the 23th so I couldn't think about other things :D
Hmmm....it feels a bit funny that both of my favorite guys born in the same month.

Well,  I should say that I hope all the best for Hiro (I already did my prays for my bf, don't worry), I hope we still can watch your movies in the following months, I hope someday the world will recognize you as a great actor, not only a good looking Japanese actor ♥. By the way, now you have the same age as me...yippeee! Haha. Now enjoy the cake :)

Basic Japanese (1)

Since I addicted to Hiro, I have watched many of his drama recently. So while watching, I also learn about some Japanese conversations. Actually, If I want, I can learn Japanese since I was very young. My mother is a Japanese teacher and there's a LOT of Japanese books and cassettes for me to learn from. But as usual, I just motivated when began to learn and then lost my mood to continue learning. In high school, I took Japanese extra curriculum as well. And it only last about few months. Since the facility of language lab in my school isn't too complete, many students are lazy to keep learning. Including me. Haha. I really get bored easily.

Now since I have watched many of Hiro's drama, I feel like I wanna learn Japanese again. I don't expect too much, cause I know to be fluent in Japanese especially learning Kanji is so damn difficult. So my target is only basic conversations and be able to write in Hiragana and Katakana. Here are some sentences that I learned from Hiro's drama:
1. Moshi moshi : Hello (phone converstation).
2. Okaeri : Welcome home.
3. Wakata/Wakarimashita (read: wakarimasta) : I understand.
4.Itadakimasu (read: itadakimas) : Thanks for the food.
5.Kareshi : Boyfriend.
6.Sou ka : I see/I understand.
7.Nan desu ka (read: nan des ka?): What is it?
8.Nani? : What?
9.Baka! : Idiot!
10.Gomen/Gomenasai : I'm sorry.

I also learn about how to call different persons:
1. [Name]-san --> to call someone who is older than you or someone who has a higher position than you. Basically, it is the polite way to call someone.
2. [Name]-sama --> it is more polite than '-san', one example was how Hiro in Mei-chan no Shitsuji always call Mei-sama to her, since he is her butler.
3.[Name]-kun --> to call a boy/a guy, but I don't think you can call it to someone who much older than you.
4. [Name]-chan --> as far as I know, we use it to call kids, but my friend who ever lived in Japan said that you can call someone with '-chan' if she is cute. Ha.
5. [First Name] --> you can call by their first name to someone whom you already close with.
6. [Last Name] --> usually it is used in the office, or if you aren't close with them.

To your family, you call them with Oka-san (Mother), Otou-san (Father), Aniki (Big brother), Aneki/Onee-san (Big sister). For younger brother/sisters and the rest families, I haven't learned it yet :p

That's enough for today. Do not hesitate to correct me if I'm wrong :)

Where You Can Find Mizushima Hiro? (Part 2)

Hi all....this is the sequel of Where You Can Find Mizushima Hiro, you can read the first part in here. So, let's continue!

5. Kamen Rider Kabuto as Tendou Souji
I just started to watch this drama today, so I have nothing to write about it yet. But one thing for sure, not only teenage girls or twenty-something women like me who idolize him, but the kids surely love him as a hero :D
I will update the review once I finish watching its 21 episodes. Aaaah...I wonder when it will be??
Update: I was wrong. The total episodes are 49 episodes! Does other Hiro fans try to watch all of them??? Blup blup blup....
6. Kanojo to no Tadashii Asobikata as Fujiki Kyouji
Wanna see Hiro being dominated by a childhood friend? Then you wanna watch this short drama. The story is about a secret game between Yuna and Fujiki who befriends since  they were a kid. Yuna is a princess and Fujiki is her servant. They promised to keep on playing it until someone knows about it.
Yuna described as a selfish teenage girl, who really demanding to Fujiki. In the opposite, Fujiki described as a very quite person, a demotivated teenage boy but he always obeys her rules. Really a princess-servant relationship in general.
Hiro's appearance is quite neat in here, his role this time is much more represents Japanese high-school students in real life, rather than his role as high-school students in other drama. Compare it with Nanba senpai in Hana Kimi, you surely know what I mean.
On this drama he looks so handsome--as usual, but he didn't talk much, and he didn't express much emotions either. I think the character is not that fit to Hiro. I can't think any figure like Hiro can be dominated by a girl like that. The conclusion that came up after I finished watching, I don't like this drama at all.

7. Watashitachi no Kyokasho as Yahata Daisuke
It is good to observe how does Hiro play different characters. But not only that, I am so glad to know he can play his characters so well in different genres. Romantic drama...check. Family drama...check. Action drama...check. Cops drama...check. Comedy drama...check. Now it is time for a legal-mystery drama.
This one is a serious drama. For those who watch drama just for fun, better not to watch it, cause you will be sleepy before the movie ends. The story is about bullying cases in  an elementary school (or junior high?--I am not so sure) . The genre itself is quite different from other genres that I ever watched. Moreover, the story about bullying is still rare to find in J-dramas.
Hiro in this drama is so weird! He played as a Math teacher. I have only watched it until episode 4, I stop watching due to technical error. Sigh. So far, I can tell that this Yahata Daisuke is very suspicious person. His appearance is quite good-looking, although I didn't expect him to be that mysterious. I think he played as an antagonist, and somehow Hiro's character in here reminds me of Johnny Depp in "Secret Window", one of very few, my favorite thriller movie.

8. Hanazakari no Kimitachi e as Nanba Minami
Like thousands of J-drama fans...I really love this drama! The story is quite good, many gorgeous actors, each role have a strong character appear, and the best thing about this drama was how it made the viewers laugh!
As I mentioned before, I started to adore Hiro since I watch Hana Kimi. Making me laugh is always become one of my criteria to adore someone. So Nanba senpai as the second funniest character in Hana Kimi absolutely made me melted. (I think we all agree the most funniest character in Hana Kimi is Nakatsu, played by Ikuta Toma)
And the best thing, I think Hiro's physical appearance in this drama was his most gorgeous one among all his drama (which I ever watched). He looks much better with his white skin rather than his tanning skin (in 'Drop' movie). I like his messy hair style, sometimes he clamp his bangs into top of his head. I like his expressions, from silly expression into the serious one. I like his fashion style, he often wear black shirts and he looks adorable! And he looks so fine even when he just wear the school uniform.
As a playboy senpai also as a respected dorm-leader, I really think Hiro played the character of Nanba Minami so well*. He fits as Nanba (while in real life, Hiro admitted that the most similar role with his real personality is his role in Room of King). His role as the fourth-most-important character in Hana Kimi (after Mizuki, Sano, and Nakatsu) may not easy to be forgotten even to those who's not idolize him.
*I haven't read the Hana Kimi manga, so my opinion about Nanba character is only based on this drama. People said that there are some part on this drama that doesn't represent the manga, but I think this drama (the Japanese version) is really good and it absolutely worth a watch.

Where You Can Find Mizushima Hiro? (Part 1)

Actually I haven't watch all of his dramas and movies, but uncle "Google" has a lot of information about him, so based on that, I tried to put filmography for Hiro here and add my thoughts about his works. Let's start with his dramas:

1. Gokusen 2 as Misawa Hiro
I hadn't watch this drama but people said that Hiro played a small role in this drama. So I streamed Mysoju.com only for episode 2 and last episode of Gokusen 2 as been informed, and found him on very few scenes. The info that I got before, was wrong. Hiro didn't play a small role in this drama. Hiro really played as a very very small cameo! On the episode that I watched, Hiro--who always appear in a lime green T-shirt--didn't speak any dialogue at all. I only see he opened his mouth one time when he said "Aaah", on the last episode, when Yakumi (the lead role) saying goodbye to her students.
I was very disappointed. But I guess it was a process. At this moment Hiro is one of the top Japanese actors. I thought 5 years (his debut in this drama was in year 2005) is quite a time for changing him from 'nothing' into 'something'.

2. Ame to Yume no Ato ni (episode 7)
Same as Gokusen, I hadn't watch this drama either. So to find Hiro, I only streamed the 7th episode. He only showed up two times in this drama. First, when he got jealous with Hayami Mokomichi (they played together in Zettai Kareshi) who was talking with his girlfriend. And the last time, when Hiro dumped by his girlfriend, who actually been possessed by a female ghost all this time. His 'conscious' girlfriend didn't even recognize who Hiro was.
The funny thing for me was how Hayami Mokomichi looks has a better appeal than Hiro on this drama, just like in Zettai Kareshi. The female ghost in above story dumped Hiro because she has a crush on Hayami. And in Zettai Kareshi, the girl choose Hayami instead of Hiro, even though Hayami is a robot. It seems that both of them are fit as rivals. Haha.
By the way, although on this drama Hiro spoke some dialogues and he showed much more expressions than on Gokusen 2, but he didn't even given a name. Poor Hiro :(
3. Brother Beat as Yoshii
Unfortunately I don't have much information about Hiro's role in this drama so I will skip this one and come back later if I already watched its full episodes. Gomen.
(I should post this sexy pic, anyway xixi)
Update: I have watched the first episode of Brother Beat, and just realized that Hayami Mokomichi played as one of the lead roles. Do you realize how often these two hotties played at the same scenes together on many dramas? Until now I have found 3 dramas they both played together.
Hiro showed up in last minutes of this first episode. On above picture, the guy whom Hiro talk with is Hayami. Yoshii (Hiro) informed Riku (Hayami) about a chance of getting rich in just one night: being a 'Host' in a Club. LOL. I wouldn't mind if they become my hostess :D
Update 110410:  I have finished watched this drama! Though Hiro only played a small role, but this family drama is worth to watch. As Hayami's friend, Hiro only showed up in few scenes, and none of them are close-up scenes. I couldn't see the quality of his acting in this drama, and I'm not sure how is the character of Yoshii. One time he is clumsy, some other he is hotblooded, he can be pessimistic as well.  If you only want to watch Hiro's appearance, no need to watch all episodes of Brother Beat, I saw someone posting particular Hiro's scenes on YouTube.
4. Pink No Idenshi as Ikushima Mizuki
I get upset when I watched this drama! The character who played as Hiro's girlfriend was totally aggressive and shameless. This short story begin when the girl suddenly showed up in front of Hiro and ask him to go out with her. Hiro, who has minus eye sights made his head closer to the girl and....cup! The girl suddenly kiss his lips and then tell everyone that his lips was soft and tender. :( :( :( :(
What I don't get was...Hiro didn't say anything about the confession nor the kiss, so how come she assumed Hiro accept her? Is this normal in Japan? Can someone confess and when the target was silent, is it normal to consider that the silence was a Yes answer?

When a Mizushima Hiro Caught My Eyes?

I noticed him when my lil' sister brought him home packed in Tokyo Dogs' DVD. She is interested in detective and cop stories, and she is dreaming about becoming a Secret Agent for some kind of institutions like FBI, CIA, CSI, and so on. I think she might be good on becoming a pro-filer since she study in Psychology major now. Haha.

Hiro played as Kudo Maruo, an impulsive, hot-blooded detective and a fighting expert due to his earlier days as a delinquent. This character, with beard and mustache, is the first time Mizushima Hiro caught my eyes!

I thought that this guy is so damn cool, the character make him more attractive, and his appearance looks like Johnny Depp, my favorite Hollywood actor. At that time I was wondering that he will look very handsome without beard and mustache. Ha.

It was about two months ago. And last month my sister, brought him home again, that time was packed in Mr. Brain DVD. And surely I was right. He was so much better without that facial hair. Although he didn't play as much scene as in Tokyo Dogs, I waited his performance in every scene, and play some scenes back just to see how gorgeous he is. I felt like I was a teenager again. Damn.

So I started to browse some info about him. And found he is married already. Dong dong dong....
I guess it shouldn't be a problem at all, he really doesn't know me, and I already have a person to be married, anyway :)

When I started to streaming his dramas, my sister told me I should watch Hana Kimi first, but I already knew that there's a lot of actors in Hana Kimi and my intention to watch these dramas is only to see him. He didn't play as a main character in Hana Kimi, so I thought Hana Kimi should be the last choice that I should watch. But I was wrong. There is a LOT of scenes of Hiro and he also got many close-up scenes. The character, Nanba-senpai, was very well played by him. He was very fit as a playboy and a leader of the dorm. I adore him ever since.

Who is Mizushima Hiro?

Known as a Japanese model and actor. He was born in Tokyo almost 26 years ago with real name Saito Tomohiro. Young Hiro lived in Switzerland for 6 years due to his father's work. He studied at an international elementary school, which explain why his English is quite good compared to other Japanese actors. He returned to Japan after the sixth grade, and in Junior High School he start to play soccer seriously. His team ever won second place in national tournament. Unfortunately he got an serious injury when he was in high school and he finally decided to quit soccer once he played in the national stadium.
Hiro entered Keio University majoring Integrated Policy, but at that time he was interested in fashion and want to study this thing better in New York. He didn't have much money to live abroad, so he started to work as a model. After half a year being a model, he wasn't comfortable for being judged by appearance only, so he started to do acting.
His debut was Gokusen 2 in 2005. He played a very-small-role, I couldn't find any dialogue that he did in this drama. He played as supporting actor in many dramas and a few movies until 2007 (except Kamen Rider Kabuto), but apparently his most impressive and unforgettable role was Nanba Senpai in Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (it is so subjective, I know). He started to play as a lead role in the following dramas; Zettai Kareshi and Tokyo Dogs. And this year, his upcoming film 'Beck' will be release soon.
